What is a Uses Page?
A uses page is a personal webpage where a developer or designer lists the tools they use for work. This can include code editors, design apps, hosting services, computers, phones, frameworks, and productivity tools.
This idea also connects to “slash pages,” which are simple website pages with standard names like /about, /now, and /uses.
#1 Nathan Arthur
Visit Nathan Arthur’s Uses Page
Nathan Arthur is listed on uses.tech as a full-stack web developer who builds productivity tools. His collection includes tools and technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, Astro, SvelteKit, Express.js, TanStack Query, Next.js, React, Netlify, Cloudflare, Vercel, and Hono.
I liked this one because his setup is close to the kind of modern web stack I keep seeing in real projects. It is not just one tool; it is a full workflow for building and hosting web apps.
#2 James Atkinson

James Atkinson is listed as a designer and front-end developer. His tools and skills include JavaScript, CSS, HTML, VS Code, UI/UX, Astro, Vercel, design systems, and Figma.
This one stood out to me because it mixes coding and design. Figma, UI/UX, and design systems show that web design is not only about making code work; it also needs to look and feel right for users.
#3 Matt Walsh
Matt Walsh is listed as a Python programmer with an interest in data and automation. His collection includes Python, JavaScript, SQL, Flask, VS Code, Windows, Linux, and problem-solving tools.
I chose this one because it shows a different side of development. It is not only front-end tools. Python, SQL, and Flask are useful for backend work, automation, and data-focused projects.
How to Add Your Personal Uses Page to uses.tech
- Create a /uses page on your own website.
- List your daily tools, such as your editor, computer, phone, browser, frameworks, design software, and hosting services.
- Go to the uses.tech GitHub repository.
- Read the contribution guide before submitting.
- Add your uses page information to the project’s data.js file.
- Submit a pull request so your page can be reviewed and added to uses.tech.
Basically, I would need to make my own uses page first, then submit it to their GitHub project. So the website does not magically find my page. I have to actually add myself to their list.
